How to Login to Weebly Website

The title of this article may look silly. But if you are reading this article, it means you are confused when it comes to logging in to your Weebly website. Weebly offers multiple platforms and you need to log in to each one in a different way. Moreover, almost all popular hosting companies offer Weebly reseller accounts and you need to follow different instructions. In this article, we will explain all possible ways to log in to your Weebly website and you can choose the right method for your account.

Weebly Account and Weebly Website

By default, Weebly.com allows you to host a website under one account 10 websites. You can create a free or premium website and have multiple accounts if you want without violating their terms and conditions. When you log into your account, you will land on the dashboard. From there, you need to select a specific site to edit and add content. So it is a two-step process before you see the Weebly editor.

However, when you have a Weebly site with a paid hosting company like Bluehost, HostGator, SiteGround, etc., you need to log in to the individual sites directly.

Log in to Weebly Account

Popular platforms like WordPress offer a standard way to log in. Since Weebly has different platforms, you can use one of the following options.

1. Log in to your Weebly.com account

This is the default option for creating a Weebly site, and most free users will have an account on the Weebly.com site.

• • On the login page, you will see multiple options to use a social account or email/username.

• • If you share your Facebook, Google, or Square login information with Weebly, click the correct button. This will take you to the social login page for the respective site, where you can log in using your social account.

• • If you use a standalone email, enter your email/username and click the “Next” button.

• • Enter your password on the next screen and click the “Login” button. If you don’t remember your password, click the “Forgot your password?” link to get a password reset link in your account email.

• • You will be landed in your Weebly account dashboard. Click on the site name displayed on the left below the Weebly icon to open all the sites available in your account. Now, click on the Edit button to enter the Weebly editor.

When you’re done, click the close (X) icon that appears in the upper-left corner to close the editor and return to the dashboard.

• • Click the site name displayed in the upper right corner of the screen and select the “Exit” option to log out of your Weebly account.

• • The Weebly login page URL will appear similar to https://www.weebly.com/app/front-door/signin?path=login#/. However, you can use a simple URL such as https://www.weebly.com/login to access the page. You can also bookmark this short URL in your browser to quickly access the page.

• • The login page is protected by Google reCAPTCHA version 3. You can see the reCAPTCHA icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. This means that the login page will not work if Google services are blocked in your country (such as China). Similarly, you may need to disable VPNs or proxies that block Google CAPTCHA services to protect your privacy.

• • Logging in means entering your Weebly account, and you can edit each site in your account without logging in separately.

2. Log in to Weebly from your hosting account

As mentioned before, you can also create a Weebly site from a SiteGround, Bluehost or HostGator paid hosting account. They offer Weebly as a reseller service using Weebly Cloud. The process depends entirely on the hosting company you use. Usually, you will need to log into your hosting account and select the site you want to edit to get to the Weebly editor.

As we tested with SiteGround and HostGator, this does not take you to the Weebly dashboard. You will be taken directly to your site’s Weebly editor to manage content.

3. Log in to other Weebly platforms

Weebly offers multiple platforms in addition to the Weebly.com website.

• • Education – Weebly is retiring its education platform from August 2022, and teacher accounts will be converted to free Weebly.com accounts. Therefore, you can log into your account following the same process as above. Unfortunately, student sites in teacher accounts will be disabled, so you will need to move them to a separate account to look into migrating to another platform.

• • Reseller – If you have your own reseller account, you can access your account using the Weebly Cloud login page.

• • Member Login – Weebly offers a membership program through the ShareASale membership marketplace.
